Lilo, Stitch, Ben and Jerry

Well, I don't really know whether I love kids or not. I'm not that excited about having a lot of them around me, but I'm good with most of them. Though I miss Kidsread and LEO's street camp, this time round, it was more of looking forward to doing something together with the neighbours. I guess we were quite nua but in the end, I did have fun after all. The kids were a mischievious bunch, and we had to use different tactics with different individuals. However, something left quite an impression on me.

We were waiting to rehearse the skit and I went out for a breather when I heard two of my girls having a bicker. Apparently, it had something to do with race, with one calling the other 'black charcoal', which was really mean. I could say I dealt with it in an 'ok' way, trying to let things cool down between them and then divert the topic. It actually brought me down memory lane, because when I was in primary school, I remember I once cried all the way home because some Malay girls "bullied" me. After that incident, I actually weren't that keen on mixing with that group or even other non-Chinese girls, though it became better after I grew up. The period in CCHMS was like a "cool-down" period. It's hilarious, especially how I even had a 'thang' for Malay guys during my Secondary school days. Well, words do hurt and I must have said something bad to anyone of a different race some point in my life. Now, I try to refrain from saying anything that is discriminatory in nature, because I think we shouldn't group people like that. A cliche: Singaporean first, then Chinese.

But, besides this, the highlight came after the camp. 010 totally 'throw face' when she tried to hitch a ride from KUNGFU PANDa and succeed. I was trying to stifle giggles on the ride to Hall 9 on a "stranger"'s car. AHAHA.

Then, yesterday, me, neighbours and Ms Wai Ting went for Chunk Fest. And i thought it was free ice-cream. The double scoops costed a whopping 8 bucks. But I still had them, because ice-cream's my weakest link. It was shoulder-to-shoulder at Fash Bash and my head was spinning with all the colours on the racks. In the end, I bought nothing.

Anyway, I'm like...back on MSN. *Sheepish* Well, I have more time to spare. But, I'll try to restrict it to intelligent conversation. To keep myself sane, and everyone else sane as well.

And, I'm like...so addicted to...小娘惹

HAHA
