This post is in English because Miss Lai said she'll give up readin if it's in Mandarin :(

But since i'm effectively bilingual, I shall provide an equally entertaining read in a language that I'm rather good at too hahaha

Well, ever since we caught Sex and the City together, Miss Lai and I had been clamouring for that resort-style beach holiday that tai-tais and uber-glam chicks go for. Now we've tried it and I say you need some serious slacking and stoning skills to totally lac' it. Cheers to an immediate cure for post-exam blues!

ONE

We gladly await our ferry ride which will last for just 1 hour whoopee

Miss Lai frowns upon me reading a Chinese book (1Q84 to be exact) and I peek at her entertaining 'butt lift' read

We reach Club Med, welcomed by friendly GOs, and wait for check-in. It seems like we couldn't get settled before checking in, so we chilled at the beach bar, bemoaning the fate of lugging our "huge" shoebags around

Sea, sand, sky, I like

Chillax'ing

We skipped to buffet lunch, and feasted while watching the beautiful pool scene

I like all-inclusive holidays. Miss Lai: "It's great having to not pay after you eat!"

I was dreaming of reading and listening to music while watching the waves, and it did come true

First activity: Circus Trapeze!

I know I'm not a monkey, but I dare to try

The monkey trainer babbled Spanish to me, told me Lunar is Moon in Spanish

I am actually significantly scared

And here I go

I stumble mid-air

And there's a cute HAM (Hot Ang Moh) waiting down there

He's my favourite HAM, meet Raphael, with absolutely sexy deep voice and stunning abs

We chill again on hammocks

It gets really packed at dinner time so we settle for an al fresco area, which actually has great ambience

TWO

Day Two was the day we got all wrinkled submerging ourselves in the pool the whole day, and Miss Lai turned red and sunburnt because she fell asleep suntanning at the deckchair by the pool

Lunch time then to the pool and sea again!

Even for a non-drinker like me, I appreciate free-flow drinks

And we have three to four plates of dessert every day gosh

THREE

I can't really recall what we did on day three but we do yoga early on some mornings, go for some aerobics and pool games haha

Day 3 was Multicultural night or something like that and Raphael the HAM showed off his mean kicks in his smexy soccer gear

FOUR

We woke up really early every morning to beat kiasu Singaporeans at their own game, that is, queuing! Well, we had to reserve seats for this different restaurant by registering at 8am at the reception and every morning when we reached there, there was always already a long queue and on day four we got lucky

I like steaks, and there were plenty of good sashimi :)

After dinner, there was a fashion show where we ogled at the cute and handsome

The chief, a french guy (second from the left) had this impeccable accent and we could never make out what he was saying besides 'a round of applause' and 'showtime'

Miss Lai has a deep deep crush on Mr Kenny our aerobics instructor

She pestered me to take more photos of him

And Mr Kosuke was not bad himself

And I like the golf pro

FIVE

Before we left Club Med, there was still a bit of time left for Miss Lai to indulge in her crush and walau there were like tonnes and tonnes of photos of this Kenny guy in my camera the last time I checked
